Krishi Vigyan Kendras of Odisha

Odisha has 33 Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), with most operating under the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT). These KVKs are spread throughout the state and provide specialized agricultural technologies, training, and extension services to farmers. The goal of the KVKs is to enhance agricultural production and productivity in rural areas, thereby strengthening the local economy. Of the 33 KVKs, 31 are affiliated with the Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar, while one is under the control of the ICAR-National Rice Research Institute (ICAR-NRRI), Cuttack, and another is under the ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture (ICAR-CIFA), Bhubaneswar.
